Born and raised in Ponte Vedra Beach, our founder, Donnie, has been passionate about Florida’s natural beauty since childhood.

What started as a dream to fund surf competitions by cutting grass at age 12 turned into a lifelong love for transforming landscapes. In 2003, fresh out of high school, Donnie officially launched Turftopia, combining his roots as a second-generation landscaper with a vision of creating outdoor utopias. The name "Turftopia" is a nod to the timeless charm of Catopia on 9th Street, paired with our goal to craft idyllic outdoor spaces.

Today, he couldn’t be happier helping fellow Floridians bring their outdoor dreams to life.
